Thank you again for providing referees for our Basketball competition in Term 1.  All your referees have presented and acted in a professional manner and all games have been controlled extremely well.

I wanted to formally provide some feedback about the referees.  Shannon was (again) fantastic, ensuring all umpires were ready pre-event, and providing additional commentary during the referee briefing.  We kept in check with each other throughout the games, ensuring all was well, the scoring was of standard, and there were no issues.  Tania was not well during the second last game (I was informed, but did not witness) and we were 1 referee short for the final male round.  Shannon took it upon himself to referee this game solo, and complete a re-shuffle of referees for the other games.  For a critical Round 6 boys match (top teams) Shannon & Danae discussed who should referee this court, while also ensuring the other games were suitably accommodated.

Danae was amazing.  I appreciate the referees know a lot of the players, however Danae maintains the stance of authority and was strong over the course of a very long, and hot day.  I had numerous comments after the day’s play, on both her and Shannon’s skills and appreciation for their time and energy.

Thankyou so very much for your support in scheduling the referees, and I look forward to working alongside them again, in the not too distant future.

Just wanted to email and pass on some feedback about Zane yesterday.

He was incredibly professional and the highest quality ref we have had so far. He went above and beyond for myself and the team yesterday. Thanks very much for sending him!

Also just wanted to mention I had really good feedback in regards to your referee’s yesterday a few of our boys were having trouble with some of the rules so the ref took him aside and explained what the rule was so he could learn from the game ,and in regards to the girls game again really professional and it was fantastic to have experienced referee’s present as I personally feel it makes the games more competitive, so thank you.

I also wanted to let you know that I have been very impressed with the reliability and quality of your referees. It makes my job a lot less stressful knowing that the referees will show up and do a great job!

Yes – many of the schools in our association have been very happy with the service you have provided them this year, and with positive feedback getting passed on, I’m sure more schools may look to engage with you next year.

Thank you again for the wonderful support of our ACC basketball carnivals. Today was extremely smooth and we had all referees at our venues by 9.45 am which was great as they all attended morning briefings. Shannon Trew, as always, did a great job with me at Warwick as the lead referee coordinating at this venue.

The role that you play to be able to coordinate almost 120 referees (midweek) for our Championship Basketball is amazing and a key reason why our carnivals run so smoothly!

We look forward to the Thursday and Friday carnivals and it is always a great week on the calendar. 240+ teams and 42 schools competing this week is another bumper week of school basketball.
